主語＋should＋動詞の原形

「～をしたほうがいいですよ」、「～をするべきです」

It was a good movie. You should see it.（それはいい映画でしたよ。見たほうがいいですよ。）

You should apologize to her for your behavior.（彼女にあなたの行動について謝ったほうがいい。）

You should see a doctor.（医者にみてもらったほうがいいですよ。）

You shouldn't stay at home all day long.（一日中家にいてはだめですよ。）

She shouldn't speak so loudly.（彼女はあんな大きな声で話さないほうがいい。）

主語＋ought to＋動詞の原形

「～をしたほうがいい」

It was a good movie. You ought to see it.（それはいい映画でしたよ。見たほうがいいですよ。）

「should」のほうがよく使われる。
